September 27th: Apple and Harvest Festival
Special Event: Apple and Harvest Festival. Look forward to games and contests, vendors with apple and harvest themed food, art, and crafts, pie and crisp contests, and cider pressing. We’ll have fun to celebrate the last market of the season with this family friendly festival.

First Market and Plant Sale
Kick off the market season with us early! May 24th is a special pre-season market with many of our regular vendors and a special focus on plant starts. Come shop for herbs, native plants, vegetables, and flowers for your garden this season from local growers. We’ll also be featuring our awesome handmade artisans and crafters, with creative and useful items like hand-knitted hats, jewelry, blown glass, photography, painted items, and tumbled local gems and rocks. Don’t forget this extra opportunity for a market and plant sale that the market is offering this year on Memorial Day weekend!

August 24th Market: Art in the Market, Live music, and Preschool in the Park
Salmon Arts Council is hosting Art in the Market today, with fun art making for folks of all ages! The art projects that they bring are free to participate in, and you can be as creative as you like, taking home your artistic masterpiece.
Preschool in the Park - LAST ONE SO MAKE IT COUNT! Happening from 10 am until 11 am, local preschool providers will host crafts, games, and play for your kids! Free and open to all, no pre-registration needed. Just bring your kids to the market and gather at the south end of the park, and be ready for fun!
Cliff and Arlene with their band “No Time Flatt” will grace us with their fun bluegrass music in the pavilion during the market. They are strumming, singing, picking experts!

August 10th Market: Live Music, Preschool, and Art!
We have a packed Farmers Market planned for August 10th! Come on down to the park and listen to fun bluegrass music from No Time Flatt. No Time Flatt consists of Arlene and Cliff, some really cool instruments, and their fun tunes will have you bopping along in no time (flatt!)
10:00 am until 11:00 am: Preschool in the Park will be happening at the south end of the park. A collaboration between local preschool providers and Salmon Public Library, this event is free and open to all folks with kids, no pre-registration needed.

National Farmers Market Week celebrates Farmers Markets across the country, celebrating their importance as a vital part in the nation’s food system, and value to communities and local economies.
